Back from San Diego

It was great. The Hard Rock San Diego was beautiful. John did swell with Kelly and I did miss them but it was great to get away. Everyone is excited about GoToTraining. Make sure everyone you know knows about GoTraining, the easiest way to do live online training.

2nd Day Blogging and The 20 minute artist challenge

Finally getting over my cold. I've had 3 colds this winter. It definitely has something to do with Kelly being in pre-school. She got it first over the weekend and then we got it on Monday. I felt better today and went to work. Speaking of work, just one more day and then it's the weekend. Yay!

On Sunday, I fly to San Diego for the Training Conference 2010. Pretty cool. We are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. 

I've really been thinking a lot on how i get art back into my life. My time is just so hard pressed. So I think if I can just do it in spurts and just be happy with whatever I do or create and not judge then it will be fun. My thought is to timebox it to 20 minute chunks. Here's a quick collage I did in 20 minutes. (Previously you may recall I was calling myself the 10 minute artist but that was really too tight. :) )

I want to start blogging again

I've been thinking for the last couple of months that I really want to start blogging again. There was a period of time where I was really good about it. I looked back, looks like it was 2008 where I posted to the blog 300 times. That's pretty good.

The reason I want to get back into it is that I want to basically journal what's happening with Kelly. Every day she is changing and growing a little bit more. This seems to be a simple way to capture it all quickly and efficiently with pictures. So here goes.

That said, I also want to post my artistic endeavors or tries. The fun things I do. My family time. Not sure if this is the right place or not but since it's all set up I think I will go for it.

Havent posted in awhile. Kelly is almost 2 1/2 and I love her more and more every day. She's the reason for everything I do.

BTW - we took a fabulous vacation on Vancouver Island for 9 days. It was lovely. REnted a house, went to Butchart gardens, Miniature World, Butterfly Gardens and most of all got to spend lots of time together. Here are the pix:

I love my daughter so much

Today we had a great day together. School pick up at 12:30, then to grandmas for a nap and then i went to get a haircut. Back for Kelly and then we went to the park where we saw lucas, luke, hayden, bella and nicolas -- all of kelly's little friends. Then to see auntie donna. Walk near the beach and back to the concert in the park. Great times.
