Teeny Tiny Art Studio
So if you couldn't tell I'm working on my teeny tiny art studio / office space again. Just spent 2 hours cleaning it up. The rolling cart where the printer is on the bottom shelf will now be kept clean ( i hope) and that will be an area kept open to paint water color. If that doesnt work, I have tabletop easel I can try there and do pastels. Pens/Pencils are now all out for easier access.
Still needs lots of TLC. But it's mt space and I like that. Need to work on hiding all the cords. Ideas? Need better lighting and perhaps to get light off my desk so there is just a tad more space on my "desk". (You know this is the pass-thru area to the master bath. But hey it's a small SB house, what are you gonna do?? If I lived in Paris or NYC, surely it would be the same problem of having a tight space.)
Hoping to find a place to store the remaining items in my other desk. Greeting cards, more tech stuff, pastels etc, beads etc. More shelving would be really perfect. Any volunteers to build it? Also if you couldn't tell this is all done on a budget. Like 0 dollars and 0 cents. I think it just makes it fun that way ... a challenge to see what I can do with stuff I already have. If you got any useful items you been thinking about throwing away, let me know. Goal #1 is to make this a comfy creative space that needs no setup and you just want to be there.
Any ideas to make more surface space to work? Ways to make it more inspiring so I will want to create more?

Angel at 1 year
Yes today is our precious little angels birthday. What a milestone. Can u believe we have a 1 year old!!??!! :)
We celebrated with a party in our backyard on Saturday. Lots of food and fun and Kelly belly had a blast. I will post the pix soon. Today we celebrated a little more quietly with dinner outside at Fresco. There was jazz music so that made it lovely and Kelly could "dance". Her dancing is this cute wiggle from side to side in her stroller. :) then we topped it off with a visit to the pet store so Kelly could see the birdies, bunnies, frogs and fishies. A great day. Before all that these were photos of her chasing salty on our street.

Made these headbands with my mom for kelly. So fun. Now we want to sell at chicken little and baby stores. Anybody want to buy one or many? :)

Grandpa John and Oatmeal
Grandpa John fed Kelly breakfast yesterday and had a real hit with feeding her oatmeal with banannas. She loved it. Couldn't get it fast enough. Precious photo. Have some videos of this I will try to upload. Dang youtube takes forever!
Baby blue
So Im trying out my new camera and here was using the zoom. Love that there are no red eyes. Kelly really has blond hair now. Probably it was hard to tell in the iphone photos but my new camera does a much better job showing her features. She's a real cutie. She loves to crawl and climb under our dining room table. She's so tall now (29") that she can easily bump her head if shes not careful. Oh and to find a stray cheerio under there is heaven for her. :)
Loves my purse
Not sure how many of u know this, but Kelly loves chewing on my purse. It's one of her favorite things. Any chance she can grab it, she will. Here she snapped it down and started chewing on it. Dang it if she werent so darn cute, I wouldn't let her do it! :)
New Camera and SD wrap up
So I returned the Casio camera and got a better one. What can I say? Kelly will only be this age once so I was looking for a dynamo screen on the camera and brilliant eye popping photos. The Canon PowerShot 10 mega pixels is making me drool and I love it. Expect to see lots of Kelly shots here soon. The iphone photos have not been representing her cuteness at all.
If you couldn't tell from all the photos from San Diego, we had a blast down there. La Jolla was so fun and different since I hadnt ever been there. We just had so much fun, walking and discovering little corners, eating out, letting Kelly crawl around. Great time. Sea World was perfect too. I cry every time at the Believe Shamu show. Saw it 2x. Cried both times. 2 years ago, it was the same and it's the same dang show. I just love it.
